Hi, I’m Emily. I’m a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia, with over eight years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities and mental health challenges as they navigate life transitions and build greater independence. I’ve had the privilege of working with military veterans, adults, and adolescents, helping each person develop the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to thrive in their daily lives.

I take a person-centered approach to therapy, meeting you exactly where you are. My goal is to create an authentic, safe, and supportive environment where you feel heard, valued, and understood. I bring creativity, compassion, and a love of animals and the outdoors to my work, which allows space for exploration, reflection, and meaningful growth.

I have experience helping adults of all ages navigate challenges such as ADHD, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, bipolar disorder, cognitive and developmental disabilities, professional stress and burnout, self-esteem concerns, and trauma. Together, we’ll focus on strategies that honor your strengths, support your goals, and help you move toward a life that feels more balanced, empowered, and fulfilling.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, playing with my three cats, or diving into a new creative project.
