Hannah Guffey, LMHP-S

Hannah Guffey is a resident in professional counseling who earned her Master's degree in Counselor Education with a concentration in clinical mental health counseling from the University of North Carolina. She's been working in the helping and education fields for over 10 years, with experiences as a crisis case manager for college students and as a seasoned career counselor at the University of Virginia. During her graduate training, she worked with children, adolescents, adults, and couples in private practice, utilizing a variety of modalities ranging from cognitive behavioral techniques to mindfulness based interventions.

Hannah approaches clients with an innate curiosity and belief in the potential for growth and self acceptance. She uses a strengths focused, person centered approach when cultivating relationships with clients in a safe and open space.​
